Location – Stoke, Staffordshire commute from Stafford, Crewe, Cheshire, Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, 
 
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager ready to step up into a Head of PMO role, leading a growing team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Project support staff. The Head of PMO will play a pivotal role in shaping their project delivery framework, driving organisational change, and ensuring key initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
 
Core responsibilities:
 

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing PMO team.
  • Oversee project delivery, governance, and resource allocation.
  • Act as the escalation point for risks, budgets, and strategic alignment.
  • Drive positive change management and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Champion continuous improvement and evolve project standards.
 
Core skills:
 
  • Proven leadership in project/programme management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Solid financial and resource management experience.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Expertise across project management methodologies such as Prince2, Scrum Agile, Waterfall,  Six Sigma & Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience in ERP technologies such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite & Workday
